Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s (Tadawul) indices ended the week in green.
Market capitalisation gained SAR 21.36 billion ($5.7 billion) to SAR 2.16 trillion ($576 billion) in a week.
The Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) went up 108.56 points, or 1.19%, to 9,196.53 points in a week.
Over the week, the joint index between Tadawul and MSCI, MT30 index, rose 16.18 points, or 1.2%, to 1,368.93 points, while the benchmark index of the Nomu secondary market (NOMU) grew 16 points, or 0.43%, to 3,695.81 points.
Food staples & retailing, insurance, banking, materials, and telecom sectors went up 2.77%, 2.69%, 1.87%, 0.59%, and 0.43%, respectively.
Meanwhile, media and commercial services lost 3.04% and 1.89%, respectively.
Tadawul’s trading volume reached 631.98 million shares over the week, while the market’s liquidity hit SAR 16.73 billion.
